Student mobility increases and government encourages more study abroad(Germany).

The mobility of German students increased almost 50 per cent from 2000 to 2005, according to the latest government survey on the Internationalisation of Higher Education.

The growth is set to continue with the German Ministry of Education encouraging up to 100 000 students to study abroad by 2010.
